The newly renovated course now features Platinum Paspalum turf on its fairways and greens following a refresh led by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. His design honors his father’s original vision for Mauna Kea Golf Course, preserving its timeless charm while creating a challenging and memorable experience.

The North Course represents the quintessential golf experience on the Island of Hawai‘i. Built on a lava bed, the North is characterized by 18 holes of rolling terrain punctuated by kiawe (mesquite) forests. This course has become one of the most popular tournament venues on the Island.

Home to the famed Senior Skins game between 1990 and 2000, the South Course embodies the classic Hawaiian golf experience with sweeping views of tall palms, sparkling seascapes and ancient lava fields. This challenging 18 hole course offers the golfer a panorama of mountain and ocean views.
